2nd Annual Domestic Violence Awareness Event

The Heather J. Kwiate Foundation (Heather’s Legacy), an organization that provides services to victims of domestic violence and their families, will present a concert on the Campus Green at Kennesaw State University on Thursday, March 22 starting at noon.

Entertainment will be provided by local Atlanta legend Bille Seymour, Chameleon (The Heather's Legacy Band) as well as one of the most exciting young bands to come out of the Athens music scene in years, Radiolucent. Free food will be provided by Paddy’s Irish Eatery. The keynote address will be delivered by Debbie Norris, founder of Heather’s Voice, an Indianapolis based domestic violence prevention group. Debbie founded Heather’s Voice in memory of her daughter who became a fatal victim of domestic violence.

Heather’s Legacy and Heather’s Voice have teamed up with additional contributors to the days’ events including Dr. Bob Mattox, Assistant Dean & Director of Student Success Services, The Kennesaw State University chapter of Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE), and the Leadership Studies Program through University Studies.
