We Are Heather's Family

Heather's Legacy started as a mere conversation on an airplane in February of 2010. We were headed home from the funeral of 23-year old, Heather Jeannine Kwiate. For almost a year, it remained a stagnant idea that we thought would never be realized. In 2011, Heather's Legacy was established in Atlanta, GA. in memory of Heather J. Kwiate, who became a fatal victim of domestic violence leaving behind two small children.

Heather's Legacy is a non-profit organization run by Heather's family in hopes that we might be able to help other families avoid such devastating acts of violence.

We are here so the memory of Heather will never fade. We share her message with you in hopes of touching the lives of many. We are here because Heather left us far too soon.
